How to track my order status?

You can check the status of your order at any time in the order section of your account.

How will my order be delivered to me?

Once the order is placed, the goods will be prepared to ship within 48 hours through a third party logistic company of repute which will ensure door step delivery or as per request. Please keep in mind, your order shall be shipped out in parts and may or may not be received by you at the same time.

How will I know if my order is placed successfully?

On successful placement of your order, you will receive a confirmation over email and/ or text message from The Dressing Lounge. This communication will contain all the details related to your order including a link to Track Your Order.

I tried placing my order using my debit card/credit card/Net Banking but the order was not successful. What happens to the money deducted from the card?

Please check your bank/credit card account to first ensure if your account has been debited. If your account has been debited after a payment failure, it is normally rolled back by banks and shall reflect on your statement. The time taken can vary from bank to bank and not within our control. Please check with your bank for more details.

If your bank informs you otherwise please get back to us. If the money has been credited to our account we would initiate refund within ____7-20______days of your request. Receipt of the refund would however depend on the payment mode chosen by you.

Can I cancel my order?

At any point before the order is shipped you will be allowed to cancel the order.

Do you allow exchanges?

Yes, we offer exchange for our customers only in the case of defective, damaged and wrongly shipped items. Visit our Return & Exchange Policies for further information.

Can I add an item to my order after I have placed my order?

You are welcome to place a new order at any point of time.

How long does it take an order to be delivered to me?

We deliver most of our orders within 2-7 business days from the order date. However, based on the type of delivery option opted by you, expected delivery time can be estimated. Please keep in mind, orders shipped in parts may or may not be received at the same time.

Does The Dressing Lounge deliver products outside India?

In our constant endeavor to provide the best services to our esteemed customers, we are working with organization entities outside of India for a similar arrangement.

How can I get my order Deliver Faster?

We offer three delivery options to ensure guaranteed and faster delivery of your order:

  • Expedite Delivery : Expedite Delivery Refers to Same Day Delivery:- Order placed before 11 AM today will be delivered by end of same business day.
  • Overnight Delivery : Order placed today will be delivered by next business day before 12 PM.
  • Standard Delivery : Deliver typically in 2 to 7 days.
What if my Expedite Delivery/Same Day Delivery order is not delivered by the ESTIMATED TIMELINE?

You will receive full refund into your account, through which transaction has been done if the order is not delivered to you within the promised date.

What should I do if I find my package opened or tampered with upon delivery?

We would recommend you to do not receive such package and return it at the same time to the logistic company.

 
Exchange / Return & Refund Policy
 
What is The Dressing Lounge Return & Exchange Policy?

The Dressing Lounge Return and Exchange Policy provide you the option to return or exchange items purchased on The Dressing Lounge within _5_ days of receipt.

In case of returns, we will credit the amount you paid for the products into account through which transaction has been made within 20 days of receipt of goods.
If you choose to exchange the item for reason of mismatch of size or receipt of a defective item, you will be provided with a replacement of the item, free of cost. However, an exchange is subject to availability of the item in our stock.

Return or Exchange policy will be applicable only if:

  • Any item purchased from our store (with the exceptions below)
  • Faulty/defective product
  • Physically damaged product
  • Unhappy with the product quality
  • The product is different from description on the website
  • Size/Fit issue
  • Items can be returned or exchanged for a store credit or full refund within 5 days of receiving the product.

Items that can only be exchanged:

  • Special items can only be exchanged against any other product on the site or store credit from The Dressing Lounge.
  • Customs made products including jackets, cufflinks, shoes, phone case and shirts can be only exchanged in case if the wrong size has been delivered to the customer.

Items that cannot be exchanged or returned:

  • Items on clearance or sale of 50% and above considered to be final sale items
  • Customs or bespoke shows, cufflinks or shirts that are made to order with your specifications. If there are size issues, these items can be exchanged for a different size.
  • Items that worn out or used and not returned in the original condition or packaging will not be eligible for any returns or exchanges.
  • Personal care items such as cosmetics are not eligible.
  • Store credits are not returnable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Following conditions should be met in order to return or exchange any product:

  • All items to be returned or exchanged must be unused and in their original condition with all original tags and packaging intact and should not be broken or tampered with.
  • Items should be returned if the return request has been made within 5 days of receiving the product.

NOTE:

As soon as we received your return or exchange request, reverse pickup of your package will be arranged within 48 hours of receipt of your request through the logistic partners.

Thorough quality check of the product will be done to ensure whether it is resalable or not before issuing a refund or store credit.
However, Discretion of TDL will be considered as final.

How can I place my return / exchange request on The Dressing Lounge platform?
  • Just click on the Return/Replace button you see against your order in your Orders page under My Account
  • Select the order which you want to return or replace.
  • Select the return reason out of the options available.
  • Select the action type like return, replace or exchange
  • Click on Submit Request Button.
    We will take care of the rest.
What should I do if I receive a faulty/physically damaged product or I am not satisfied with the quality of product I received?

If you receive a faulty product, we request you to submit a return request for the product within 5 days of receipt of your order.
As soon as we receive your request, we will initiate our complaint redressal process and reverse pickup of the product will be arranged within 48 hours of receipt of your complaint. If the product is found to be faulty/defective, it will be exchanged /replaced or we will refund the entire amount within 20 days of receipt of goods, as per your request.

How long will it take to cancel my order?

Any order placed needs to be cancelled within 48 hours or before being shipped, whichever occurs before. Upon cancellation, refund will be made within 20 days of order cancellation confirmation.

What should I do if product received is different from the description on TDL?

If you receive a product that is different from the description on TDL, we request you to submit a return/exchange request for the product within 5 days of receipt of your order.
As soon as we receive your request, we will initiate our complaint redress process. Reverse pickup of the product will be arranged within48 hours of receipt of your complaint.If the product is found to be faulty /defective, it will be exchanged /replaced or we will refund the entire amount within 20 days of receipt of goods as per your request.

Why was my order cancelled?

Your order may have been cancelled because of any of the following reasons:

  • Non-availability of the product(s)
  • Inaccuracies or errors in pricing information
  • Problems identified by our fraud detection department
  • We may put additional checks and verifications or seek more information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or a part of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order.
How will I receive my Refund?

The receipt of your refund entirely depends on the mode of payment that you opted for. - Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking- Reverse credit to the credit card/credit in your netbanking account or Debit Card would be initiated within 20 days.
